Were is everyone getting their numbers. I come up with 5,583 less bucks killed this year to date. 2014-15 year to date 94,856 bucks killed, 2015-16 year to date 89,273 bucks killed year to date. as of 1-5-16

Gun season opened on the 17th in 2012 that is the reason the numbers are high for 2012.

How about I change it to we have killed 10,858 less bucks than this time last year.

Total is just a few minutes ago, 10,858 more bucks alive than this time last year.

I think your way over thinking it. Where I hunt most mature bucks die by a bullet, and they are killed by young and old, and all skill levels. Out of the dozens of mature bucks that I have caught on trail cams the last 9 years, I can count on both hands the bucks that I can not account for...
