Between the chicken coop and the raised garden beds, guess your motto is "go big or go home" 😁. Rather impressive to say the least.

You mentioned 30 more plants than ever before. Why the additional 150%?
I'm growing for my brothers family as well. He grows everything else and i grow the tomatoes.

got some work to do but coming along late. rainy may now dry as a bone. good tomato weather though. beans, okra, boston picklers, squash, zukes, and a couple rows of peaches n cream.

i really need to get some fall cover planting done this year to build the soil back up. had to till a little this year and kind of sucks.

the deer are over populated and hard to keep them out. farmers are getting tired of it and one of my buddies put me on his depredation permit. hate to do it but something has to be done.

got to cut the two pear trees this week too. they suck the life out of the soil.

Had a nice much needed rain yesterday. I need to run the tiller between the rows again this week.

Sprayed the corn with sevin this morning. We will have fresh corn in a couple weeks.

Will have to add a couple runs of wire at the bottom to keep the coons out. Or, may just take all the wire down and let the dog have free reign.🤔

Pretty garden! I'm about a month behind yours. When did you plant your corn?

Thanks. I planted the corn in the middle of April, peaches and cream. The corn was a couple inches out of the ground when we had that late frost, luckily it only stunned it temporarily. I usually give the corn a couple shots of triple 15 but have only side dressed it once this year, don't think it is going to need anymore.

My pepper plants are a little slow taking off this year, may have to add some manure from the pasture next time I run the tiller through.

Well it looks great. I planted my corn a few days after Mothers Day. Probably time to side dress mine.
