Fried up some breasts tonight. Coated with crushed corn flakes. Haven't done it like this in a while. I mixed in some nashville hot seasoning with it. Good eating, time to dog in!

Wish I didn't open this thread. Laying here sick alone while everyone else gone to a family gathering. Now all I can think about is fried chicken and garden goodies. Only two improvements I'd make tot his plate: 3 slices of garden mater and it should be in my hands

It ain't "southern fried" unless it is soaked first in buttermilk, and then battered with either seasoned cornmeal or flour, or a combination of the two;)

Sure enough looks good.

A teaspoon of sugar in the cornbread is a secret, don't tell anyone.

This year I swear I am gonna grow my own green beans.

If you refrigerate the chicken for one hour post breading first and second dip, you get a surprising result. Yep, I thought it was foolish too. My Sons about locked me in my room but now they are frigerating all kinds of stuff to see if they get a winner.

I ate cornflakes from a gray box with black lettering when I was pretty young. I went into a closet and pinky swore I would never eat another one. And I have not.
