I'm with you, I bought some a few weeks ago. I haven't tried it on anything except paper so far. I'm not using this for 1,000 yard shots, I need it for less than 400, mostly less than 150. It has done what it needed to do out to 300, sighted in for a 200 yard zero, right now on paper anything from very short range to 300 should be money. Once I tried to reach out to 350, it dropped a lot, so a DOPE card would be needed for anything over that for me.

I will try them out on hogs after turkey season. Yeah, I know a 300 win. is a lot for hogs, but I'm trying to see what it does on game before trying it on a good deer next year. It's too bad they won't let us have an early doe season like duck hunters get an early goose and teal season, just so we can try out our new gear before it matters.

I like more power lol never too much haha! I bought a few boxes trying to get ready for a Texas hog and deer hunt this fall and figured if it's good on paper it'll get the nod to go and cross my fingers! I'm also a shoulder shooter (I ain't worried about that meat) I also bought some of the federal terminal ascent in 200 grain to try

The federal terminal is good stuff and Norma usually is also. I suggest looking up the channel Frontline Rejects on YouTube. They do a good job reviewing and testing ammo at different ranges.
