Buddy of mine is looking for a flooded timber Arkansas duck hunt.
Not interested in any field hunting of any kind.
Just thought I would check here for him and see if anyone had any experience with any guides?

Flooded timber hunts are very expensive as there is very little available. Some guides offer "flooded timber" hunts but what you end up with is a buckbrush slough or a cypress brake. I know 'cause I've been there.
I agree, true flooded timber like you see on tv standing in shallow water in oak trees is very rare. It would be hard to find a open spot for this season.

Expensive but a first class operation, actually cheaper than Habitat Flats, another first class operation with exceptional guides, food and hunting. Make sure he takes his fine double or O/U, you want to fit in you know 😀
One thing that caught my eye was it is all inclusive except for the tip.
Food included and an OPEN BAR. :D
That would knock off a couple hundred for me. :D

Yeah I checked out their site after reading this thread. I'm not gonna pretend it's cheap but considering all you get for the price, its really not that outrageous.

I'm pretty sure slicks is full forever. I think their clients rebook at the end of the hunt for the following year and there is a waiting list hundreds long. I contacted them 3 years ago stating I would take any opening for 1-8 people any day and haven't heard anything yet.

I would try Burrus brothers outfitting. I hunt in the same area and talked to the guy at a restaurant a couple weeks ago. Seemed very nice. Everything I hear is that they have some good spots and a nice set up. I have seen them recommended by several people.
