What's y'all's go to for cooking breakfast and lunch in the blind? Our blind typically hunts 5-7 people. We will have 2-3 lbs of bacon, 1dz of eggs and 1lb of sausage. Either toss it on some white bread or make a burrito. Our favorite lunch's are either patty melts or stir fry on the blackstone grill. Typically the last weekend of season we will do a shrimp boil. Can't beat some cooked meals in the blind!

We normally cook a dozen eggs, 2lbs of sausage, 2lbs of bacon and maybe an onion and make breakfast burritos every morning. If we stay for lunch it is usually hamburgers or pork chops sandwiches. We have a full kitchen and a blackstone griddle so we can cook most anything we want. A few times a season we will have a big fish fry in the blind.

Side note, that was before we finished it. We have a small refrigerator and a coffee pot as well now. 😝

I forgot we always start the morning before daylight with cinnamon rolls. Then breakfast is around 9am lol

Here at Reelfoot I am usually cooking for 6-9 everyday. I am always looking for recipes and new ideas. Pretty much have done all of the above. Pork tenderloin, duck gumbo, fajitas, burgers, smoked chicken...Blackstone and oven helps. People really like fried biscuits on the b.s.. Pancakes, waffles, and an old fashioned electric percolater. I HATE coffee though so I have tea as well

Coffee and hate is what gets me through most mornings. But I've been on some guided hunts where someone will cook, & my favorite has always been the breffus burritos

Bacon, sausage(pork or venison or both), eggs, sometimes country ham, biscuits, sometimes a pancake or two. if we eat lunch in the blind, it's usually hamburger helper or fried bologna. We have done beer bath brats, pork tenderloins, deer tenderloins and biscuits, fried fish, and deer or duck fajitas for lunch before. A lot depends on who and how many are in the blind, and how long we wind up staying.

Huevos con chorizo and make burritos, fried deer tenderloin on biscuits with eggs, hashbrowns, etc.

I use a three burner coleman stove. Basically anything you would cook at home I can cook in the blind. Biscuits require the use of a lodge pan with a lid. Heat the lid, use the lodge meat pan insert and you get an oven effect from it to bake. Percolator coffee.

I've never made pancakes in the blind but I'm not a big fan of pancakes though.

After you cook your bacon, drop you a little debbie regular honey bun in there and warm it up.

We don't stay till lunch usually.
