I was here a week ago and there were no bucks around, no activity at all. Then like flipping a switch, it's crazy town.
That is crazy. Bucks are literally non-existent where we are. The ones that are seen are yearlings mowing down food plots. FWIW, that's with running 21 cameras and hunting. I just don't understand what's going on. Hopefully things change between now and the end of the week.

Congrats on a well earned buck! He made one heck of an impressive jump from 2020 to 2021.

I like your odds. Rut activity up here seems to be about a week or 10 days ahead of where I'm at an hour south of Nashville. Picked up heavy here a week ago, so hopefully it'll be hot in TN when I get home later this week.

Thank you. I don't have a scale in the barn, but that's on the to-do list along with an electric winch. Taxidermist came out to cape him out and guessed he was pushing 300lbs on the hoof. I'm 6'2" 240lbs and he dwarfs me.
It's all that SKI he's been drinking...
