Sold/Expired Chainsaw Carved Black Bear

Chainsaw carved black bear. Just a hair under 4 feet tall…right at 47" to the top of the ears. This is the first Bear I've carved in over two years. Just had an itch to break out my carving saws this weekend and do something. Carved from sassafras, torched, then finished with 3 coats of spar urethane. They look great on/in cabins, on the porch of your shop, anywhere you want to add a little rustic touch. Feel free to text me at 931-two,six,seven-9114. Located in Baxter/west of Cookeville. Thanks! The knife making bug bit me pretty hard the past year or so and I haven't carved much to speak of. Took me twice as long as it used to just getting back in to the rhythm of it.

That acorn is carved from soft maple actually . It was a blow down piece in the 2020 tornado and the buyer really appreciated having something nice from all the destruction. That missed my house by less than a quarter mile before it touched down and destroyed this end of the county. We got a cleanup job to salvage what timber was left there. That piece of maple came from right there, in the eye of the storm.
