Closest body of water, to put a boat in, is 45 minutes from my house.
I need to move closer to @cbhunter or @woodyard so I can fish more during the week. :D

It would probably help if I didn't like to get home after 5:00 p.m. too though.

Reminds me of a guy my dad worked with at Goodyear.
He worked second shift and lived in Paris and drove to Union City every day to work.
My dad told him one time, you should move closer to Union City, that's a long drive to work every day.
He said, yeah but then I would have to drive to Paris every day to fish. LOL

For those of us who enjoy a variety of different hunting & fishing things, I've about decided there may be no perfect place to live. And it's easy to mislead yourself.

When I was young, growing up in far West TN, where there were very few deer & not even a deer season, my family took a vacation to the Smoky Mountains, and we spent some time in Cades Cove. I had never before seen so many deer, so just "assumed" those mountains of East TN were full of deer, and I needed to move to East TN soon as I could, you know, for the great deer hunting.

Boy was that ever a rude awakening, and generally speaking, the fishing was generally no where near as good as I had been accustomed.

Dover is not a bad place, close to two large lakes for fishing, and deer hunting in KY, but then, I find myself wanting to fish more now at Reelfoot (mainly to get away from jet skis & speed boat drunkards). Then, CWD issues may soon ruin the deer management & deer hunting (at least that's my opinion), and it could be ruined on both sides of the state line in short order.

Wyoming is actually looking better each day, but then, I might run into Liz Chaney and she'd probably shoot me. Guess I just need to stay put a while longer :)

Come on and move to Soddy Daisy. We have some great fishing on Chickamauga and halfway good deer hunting but the BIGGEST benefit would be being so far from @rem270 that you would only have to see him a couple times a year when he came down to try and catch some catfish.
gotta be a multi thousandaire to live in soddy now.

Soddy has got stupid with the prices nowadays. I honestly don't see how any young person or young couple can actually start off without being behind the 8 ball now. Where my in-laws live off of Armstrong Rd out by the lake was VERY reasonable not so long ago but now the houses they built out there are starting at like 650k-700k. Just nuts how it has went in Soddy.

Y'all are too gay for him around there. There's no #sfmafia. Y'all have to answer to everyone. We answer to no one round these parts.
