Me and my best friend were talking about this yesterday.
We both agree that right now Georgia is the better team.
Just so hard to bet against Alabama though... they seem to most always get it done.
I SHOULD be a heck of a game and I really feel that Georgia might beat them.

I'm gonna go with Bama though.
Who you think will win?

Georgia should destroy them. Alabama has no run game and struggled mightily against a bad LSU team and a decent Arkansas team. UGA has an elite defense. But Kirby "Not So" Smart has been known to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory on numerous occasions. Despite Kirby being UGA's coach, I think they win easily.

The SEC wants Bama in the playoffs, so get ready!

Seriously, while I would love to see a curb stomping of Bama, it will probably be close. Kirby needs to realize that he has the stronger team, and not do stupid stuff like going for it on 4th down against the odds etc. This is a game where he can win it with field position.

If Bama doesn't have any gift scores (turnovers etc.), then GA should win comfortably.

I look forward to watching it. And just realized that it will be a week from Saturday at 3:00 central.

I'm a DAWGS fan, but I know that Saban will have his team ready to play. They may be "down" this season according to Bama standards, but they are still more talented than just about any other team in the nation at this point. Always dangerous and never out of the game.

Kirby has matured over the years, and seems to have a (mostly) different mindset this season. Hopefully we can stay healthy, and he won't let off the gas this go around. I'm not a betting man, and even if I was I wouldn't bet on the SECCG this season.

Oh you've just been burned too many times.

Calm down, this is your year :D !

Now, it would be GA's luck to have a new variant of the virus rise up, and cause the playoffs to be postponed this year!

This right here.

Kirby has put his team in a position to play this year that's for sure. ALABAMA is stoked full of 5 star and 4 star players and shows no signs of letting up on the gas. If anyone is counting Saban out of this race you have not been keeping up the last 10 years or so. Roll Tide.

So, a smackdown on a downward-spiraling Auburn team without their QB, might cause you to bet on Bama instead of GA? Ok then!

If the game was this Saturday and I had to bet on it, I'd have to bet on GA, but I've been pretty open about my betting record this week, I ain't all that good at it. Auburn ain't that great of a team this year, but they have plenty of talent and pretty much always play Alabama tight.

Tight now, I'd guess that GA would be a 3.5 favorite if they played Saturday. I'd say a solid win (in Auburn)by Alabama would change the betting line by a 2-3 points, and a loss would change the line by about 7.
