Anyone own a Gamo Swarm?
I bought my son the Swarm Gen II 10X, but he never shoots it. We removed the horrible scope and just use the iron sights... That scope wouldn't hold true for three shots.Anyone own a Gamo Swarm?
Did you try different pellets? The scope/Gun has a 3 year warranty. I had to try several pellets to find the right one. Air rifles are not like rim fire/centerfire.I bought my son the Swarm Gen II 10X, but he never shoots it. We removed the horrible scope and just use the iron sights... Thanks for the tips. We tried many different pellets in the 22 caliber air rifle, with Gamo's Red Fire producing the best results. Thanks for the reminder on the warranty. I think we will return the scope, which will not retain zero.Did you try different pellets? The scope/Gun has a 3 year warranty. I had to try several pellets to find the right one. I agree the scope isn't the greatest, but it should hold fine. You can't put any scope on them or they will break a normal scope.
Also, if you got the .177 it is less forgiving than the .22. with the .177 the artillery hold is best. Also harder to find a .177 that they like.
My .177 likes the gamo tomahawk and my .22 likes the Gamo Blue Bombers the best or the the Crosman HP 14.3 gr.
Gamo has super awesome warranty. I sent back my .177 swarm because it went rom 975fps to a 500fps...and they replaced all the internals for free....Thanks for the tips.
