Food Plots Spraying clover heavy areas with cleth and 24db

Has anyone tried this? It's a great year for clover here (or a bad year if you have bloated cows) and I'm considering picking a few spots in pastures full of wild clover and spraying the weeds in addition to some 0-20-20. I've seen heads from crimson, white and red clovers. Has anyone gone this route?

Depends on how big the weeds are. Might have to mow to top of clover then wait a week or so before spraying

Really? My Clethodim bottle said surfactant was needed. None for my 2-4DB. must be some brands have it added

Don't know why you wouldn't add surfactant. Before I went to a 1% solution of crop oil for all my herbicides, I always added surfactant to Cleth per the label.

I haven't read that on the label to my old memory but will read again. Now, does that 160 combo mean the high of the day or when(time of day) that you apply. We usually try to start spraying in our area shortly after daylight to take advantage of the cooler temps and calm winds cause the weathermen can't seem to predict winds very well. 5 to 10 mph means 10 to 15 with gusts!!!

I didn't read it until after I had cabbage leaves turning white and curling. I assume it would be at any point during the first 24 hours while it is being absorbed by plant tissue. Never used the crop oil after that and it still works just fine.
Guess it wouldn't matter so much damaging clover though.

Is the cleth mix rate 1oz per gallon? Can't remember? What about the 24D?
