I just left the store. They had 6 boxes Remington .270 150gr in stock, several boxes of .308 various brands, and an assortment of shotgun shells, some single boxes and 100 rd boxes. 2/21/21 @ 3:00 pm

I bought some this past week at a different Walmart. The 150 gr Core Locks were $19.99 a box there
I saw some on Gunbroker that were selling these in lots of 4. The current bid was 249.00. That was over 60 a box. I really believe the old addage that stated "A Fool and their money are soon Parted".

GunBroker prices are just dumb.... 300 PRC ammo selling for $100++ a box, a case of 410 Remington Sporting Clay Nitros- 2.5" 9 shot for $320, and my favorite... 2 pounds of Hodgon H1000 for $445
It is insane... I know people are buying at normal prices locally and selling online. A person could sell a small portion of their stash and buy a few more guns with just the profit.

Yeah, they were $20 a box. I bought two. Everything they had was what I consider regular retail price

Yeah, that sucks. Probably contributes to why there's no ammo. I guess I could've bought it all and tried to scalp them, but I'm not gonna do that.

Just wanted to say thanks again for posting this one. I got the only case of 20 gauge they had left. Wouldn't take $200 for it if offered. Only reassurance I get to hunt dove this year. Thank you!

I agree 10000% that it sucks and is contributing to the problem. I wont do it either... I have bought all that I need in everything but 357 Mag or 38 Spcl. Those are the only rounds I cant seem to get lucky on and find. For the longest time my brand new Christensen Arms Ridgeline in 300 PRC was nothing more than a paper weight.... I was able to get a few boxes here lately but still dont have enough to feel comfortable. I could have all the ammo I wanted but refuse to pay the $70-$80 or as much as $150 a box for it.

I am glad you were able to get you some! That is/was my main concern as well. Online, Winchester AA's are going for anywhere from $12-$19 a box. Be tough to Dove hunt a lot with those prices. Ive been lucky enough to get some boxes at walmart tho. Hoping they get some more 410 in soon so that I get some for my son's gun.

I went in there for some light bulbs and took a peak at the gun counter. Didn't see one box of ammo - Just an FYI for anyone seeing this

Was at our local WM a couple hours ago. They had 16 and 28 ga ammo in stock. Picked up some more 28 #6s.

Keep hitting the Walmart's. I've got some 300 Win, 25/06, 308 and 350 legend by checking daily.

Well local Walmart had the motherload of shotgun shells today. Had .410, 20ga and 12ga. I'm good now on shotgun rounds for the field.

Today, our WM had 270, 17wsm, 45/70, 7.62x51, and a ton of 22 stingers. No shotgun shells today.
