Tennessee Wildlife Resource Commission Members
The Executive Director of the TWRA reports to a governing board of individuals called the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Commission, or TWRC.

Appointed to represent the wishes of the hunters and anglers, your commissioners serves to convey to the rest of the TWRC the majority opinion of the district to which he or she is appointed.Among the commissioners, nine are appointed by the Governor for 6 year terms. Two are appointed as statewide representives, one of which is appointed by the Speaker of the House and the other is appointed by the Speaker of the Senate. The Commissioner of Agriculture and the Commissioner of Environment and Conservation complete the membership of the TWRC. The Governor is an Ex-Officio Member also.
