I'm a 63 yr. old fella thats been fishin for bass most of my life. However, I've got to admit that I never been much into the crank bait thing....just never had a lot of luck at it. I have thrown some "Rattle Traps" with some success along with a few shallow running baits....mostly with minimal success. I want to try some deep diving crank baits. I'd like a few suggestions as to what rod'n'reel set-up works well for you guys. You know...rod length and action.....and gear ratios. I don't mind paying the price for decent equipment either. Some suggestions please. I live in Henry Co. and spend most of my time on Kentucky & Barkly lakes. Any help would be appreciated.

Gone fish'n....be back for deer season
