Had a fun morning on Chickamauga Lake with Tait Rassell from Atlanta today. Tait comes up to visit grandparents and has fished with me three times. He's a good luck charm. We spent a while drowning shiners this morning and caught several quality bass, include one real good fish that gave Tait a serious battle. Then we switched to cats and they were pretty hot. The majority were just good eaters with a few quality fish mixed in... and on last drift of the morning Tait landed a brute! Tait said that it was the biggest fish he's ever caught. To say he was pleased is a wee bit of an understatement, as was I. And that's why life is good and gettin' better every day!
