No particular reason to post this other than out of curiosity. I feel like I did a very thorough job of prepping my plots (i.e. tilling, cultipacking, covering the seed). Rain didn't show up as planned. Next chance looks like a week from now. |
Given the dry and relatively hot conditions, should my seed be okay until then, not taking into account critters eating some of the seed sewn on top of the ground?
I over-seeded thinking that I might lose some seed to weather. I haven't been out to the plots today, but the weather maps that I looked at showed the rain missing me.
In dog years - I would be dead.
