Any craft beer fans have recommendations for good English-style ales? I love stouts, porters, and brown ales, but when I've been working outside in the heat, sometimes a heavy stout isn't what I'm looking for to quench my thirst. I would love to find a good pale or amber ale, but all of the pale ales seem to be too hoppy. I'm looking for any English-style ale (heavy on the malted grains, very low on hops) that others have found to their liking. Right now, the only lighter ales I've found to my liking are Nashville based Blackstone's Maris Otter and Highland Brewing's (Ashville, NC) Gaelic Ale.|
Any other English/Irish/Scottish style lighter ale recommendations?
