We are in are fourth year of our QDM program and it definitely is a success story. I recommend it to anyone that has control of enough acreage or cooperation with neighbors. We have an extensive food plot program and are not killing any bucks unless they are 8 pt. or better and outside the ears. Only one buck harvested thus far. We bow hunt only, all seasons, and manage the does. We are starting to see some nice bucks. However we now have questions about genetics. We have seen some outside the ears racks with one main beam on one side and a full rack on the other side. We have also seen several nice younger bucks without brow tines. Will a buck without brow tines always be without brow tines? Below is a picture of one of the bucks without brow tines.
