Which is helps increase weight loss? As in reducing the waistline?

Weight training/strength training/resistance training (NOT competitive bodybuilding)
Running/brisk walking

I'm not looking to bulk up like the Hulk, but I'd like lose this gut. I know a lot of it comes from what you eat. I'll admit I've slacked off a lot lately...eating junk food, drinking cokes, etc. And not working out as much.

I have lost weight before changing my eating habits and walking/staying active, but lately I have either gotten lazy or forgotten what worked in past. I should know this, but it's like I'm a total noob!
