We have three food plots worked up and ready for planting that I am seeking advice on what to plant for deer (this yr) and dove (next year).

Plot one: About an acre in size. This will be for deer strictly, and would like something that will attract deer from youth gun through the end of gun season. I liked what I have read on here about the radishes. Pros and cons of the radishes vs turnips? Should I put something else with them?

Plot two: About a half acre spot that we worked up in a bigger field that has a good clover stand established already.

Plot three: Probably 4-5 acres total. I want to make a dove field for next fall, but also put something in for deer on two edges this fall.

Thanks for suggestions!
