I mentioned in another thread about how I planted too many (four) pole bean plants around each corn stalk - huge mistake! When the bean plants got too cumbersome, the weight knocked over the corn stalks, killing both the corn and the beans. Lesson learned.

But I have another question for you pole bean aficionados. I planted a few more pole beans on a 5 foot chain link fence. Although I think I planted too late (mid-June), they look great and are spreading out everywhere. The only problem is that I've got all plant and no beans.

When can I expect something to happen in the way of beans? Has everybody but me already gotten their pole beans? Thanks.
