I see coyotes almost every time I go turkey hunting, but when I actually go out looking/calling for one, nothing. I've used a rabbit call and a MoJo predator decoy.
I decided to take my new fawn bleat call with me yesterday while turkey hunting.

Around 0700, I spot a gray coyote trotting across a field at 100yds, moving through a herd of cattle with calfs. I hit the bleat for about 5 seconds, the coyote stopped, turned and looked. Then continued trotting off like nothing happened.
I was in excellent cover (a hen had just passed me at 10yds, didn't spot me). The wind was blowing full in my face.

What does it take to interest these guys so I can introduce them to a load of shot?
To a deer, every human is a stump.
To a turkey, every stump is a human.
