While out at a WMA this past weekend scouting with my son saw 2 pheasants running around. Very pretty birds but they let us get way to close. Figure they will not make it to long out there with the yotes and Hawks. Question is would that be a legal bird to shoot if we had a gun? Could not find anything in the regs . Saw one about 4 years ago near the same spot so I would guess the next property owner must release some to shoot. As far as I know there are not any shooting preserves close by.
