The “Blount County 2nd Amendment Rally” will take place noon Saturday at the Blount County Courthouse, 345 S. Court St., Maryville. Those who plan to attend please dress professionally and do not bring rifles or shotguns. Those with a valid Tennessee Carry Permit can carry on the property outside the court house, but not inside or on the property of the adjacent city park. Members of local law enforcement and government including Blount County Mayor Ed Mitchell will be in attendance to show their support. Please tell everyone you know.
