4 of the last 6 deer we harvested in Hardin County, late season,had for lack of a proper term signs of ”reddish mange” around the snout not quit extending to the eye area. The “effected” area didn’t seem to be infected but dry. The deer otherwise seemed healthy with clear coats, clean eyes and nostrils. Typical of a freshly harvested deer. One was a buck and 3 does. Any insight to what this might be? None of the other members have seen this before.
