Due to a very tight barrel issue with a Savage MLII, I'm looking for an easier to load alternative than the Barnes Originals/orange MMP sabot that I have been using. I love the way that combo shoots in the rifle, and love the terminal performance. But, I don't like wondering every time I try to start it whether or not it is going down the barrel.
I have received a suggestion of the .451 Parker bullets in either 275 or 300 gr. as a place to start for an easier to load alternative.
Has anybody on here shot the Parker bullets and do you have any experience on how they work on deer?
