I was posting what Ive ssen driving to and from Arlington from Bartlett over the last couple of days. Yesterday afternoon I say a small buck following close behind a doe and he was breathing so hard I thought he was going to pass out. Today at 3 45 I drove by what I call the honey hole, and saw the biggest buck Ive seen all year. He was standing there looking around and all the sudden a doe popped up out of no where. I guess he was standing over her, couldnt really figure it out. This deer had not a care in the world. Glassed him to look at his rack and it was a very nice 12pt. Who gets to hunt these places? Id give anything to hunt these woods. Definate rut activity in Shelby County.
