I'll be looking to upgrade my truck in the near future, and wanted to put my feelers out on TNDeer to gauge interest before I tried to trade it in. It's in good running condition, but as with most 15 year old vehicles, some components will soon need replacement. Ideal for someone that can work on it themselves, and/or needs a weekend hunting truck

1997 GMC Sierra, 3-door extended Cab, 2WD, with 5.7L Vortec
15" Michelin Tires are 2 years old. Recent blowout caused me to replace right rear with non-Michelin. Automatic transmission. Never garaged.

1) Recent fuel system clean out, as well as full scale tune-up (7/2012)
2) Recently rebuilt starter (11/2012)
3) New Brakes 12/2011
4) Battery is 1 year old
5) AC Compressor needs replacement...other AC components recently replaced
6) Plastic tub-style bed liner
7) WILL NOT PASS CITY INSPECTION. Check Engine light is on for the catalytic converter

Truck has 140,000 miles. Mostly in-town miles, regional highway, very few cross country trips.

Exterior is probably a 2 out of 5. Driver side door was hit in a parking lot. It's never been garaged, so the paint isn't in tip top condition. Some minor dings & small scratches. Vent visors finally cracked off. I have uninstalled replacements available.

Cloth interior is pretty decent for its age. I'd say a 3-4 out of 5. 60/40 front bench seat. Power driver side seat, power mirrors, power doors, cruise control, functional AM/FM, CD, Tape deck.

Kelly Blue Book price for "Fair Condition" is $3,375. I'd say if you can live without a catalytic converter, putting a new AC compressor will run around $500, so I'll ask $2,800.

Let me know if there's any interest, and I'll put up some pictures. PM for more attentive response, as I don't check the Classifieds very often.
