After what appeared to be a dissapointing harvest fm my raised beds gardens, I'm still harvesting. Today, I picked chard, turnips and the greens on the turnip plants, beets and their leafs. I mix the chard and beet leafs and cook them together. The beets were averaging a bit small but were exceptionally sweet.
Lots of work today, preparing all this for the freezer.
I'm 70, 71 next month and all wore out. Bet Ya tho, if I was in W TN and had a chance to go deer hunting tomorrow morning, I'd try to make it, altho during TN archery season this year, I only got in 1 morning hunt due mostly to being sick.
