can kids hunt any time?

ok not real sure about this but my son is 8yrs old does not have HSC yet but does have his lifetime license so with that being said during regular firearm season can he hunt if im setting with him?or can they only hunt on the juvy day? he loves to go hunting he just complains he only gets to hunt 4days year so im tring to find him an answer.
