A 22 year old friend of mine whose never hunted wanted to start but couldn't find a Hunter Safety Course soon enough to let him hunt. When he went to inquire about an apprentice license the clerk told him that was for people 12-16 and that he was too old to get one.
Is this correct? He wants to take the course but is working 60 hrs a week right now.
As a follow up. Is the apprentice license good for a 12 month period or does it expire at the end of February?
