This buck got me into alot of heat and I got bashed pretty hard when I took this buck during early December. I shot this buck thinking he was the big 8point I had been aftering since getting him on my trail cam. I only had a few nice racked bucks on cam so that was part of me pulling the trigger, not because I wanted to kill a buck but because I thought it was the 1 I was after. Well after shooting this buck I walked up and realized I had no idea who he was. Went back through almost 1,000 pics and I didn't have a single pic of this buck. I also shot this buck about 75yards away from my trail cam. I jumped this buck up in a field and had a split second to take a shot. Well looking back on it, it felt like a mistake but its part of deer hunting, I've moved on and the rack is now mounted perfectly in my workshop. I was just wondering how many of you guys have made a similar mistake and are willing to post pics about it!
