is it me or are the winter flocks bigger than normal? i live in washington co around sulphur springs ans bowmantown and have seen 2 different flocks of around 90 or 100 birds. seen both flocks in one day within 2 miles of each other on the same day so i know its not the same flock. plus one group of longbeards with 23 in it.... cant wait till they start busting up so i can see what all will be on the farms i hunt. they usually dont bust up around here till about 2 weeks before season opens.
