I needed a smallmouth fix today... spent most of the morning drifting shiners in Chickamauga Tailwaters. First drift with three rods out, I had a triple! Thought it was going to be super hot after that... but no, just steady. I had 14 bass... seven smallmouth and seven spots... all were decent size including one smallie about three lbs. and a kicker that was about 4.5 lbs.

Wanted to check out the bluegill for a Sunday trip, and they were super hot. Lots of small fish, typical for winter... but also found some BIG bream. Loads of fun. Caught them on 1/16th oz. jig tipped with wax warms... some on panfish assassins.

Life is good and gettin' better every day!
