Took my little girl out Sunday evening for a little fishing. Five minutes into the first stop the trolling motor cable breaks. This is twice in 13 months. I don't know if you have installed one, but thier generally a pain in the [censored], not to metion mine is $70 bucks a pop! Anyway, just got the new one on and I'am back in action. My dealer didn't charge me for this one (yet). They are going to send it back to Evinrude and see if they will cover it even thought the 12 month warranty had expired. Crossing my fingers.

I changed many a cable on the old evinrude trolling motors back in the day! I actually carried a spare at one time.
