I'm relatively new to this forum and I don't know anybody here but I have fished the Caney, the Obey, the Elk as well as various other trout streams around the state for the last 35 years so this is an observation from an outsider with some knowledge of this area as it were. I think Scrubs has a grudge and he is trying to upset people and possibly screw up the area. Sure you can get maps to other rivers but they don't go to the detail that he does. I don't know the man and I'm may be wrong but if I had to guess, I'd say he probably doesn't own a fly rod. If he does fish, he is probably a corn dunker not that there is anything wrong with that. I seriously doubt that he actually wrote the post himself. Someone else probably gave it to him in confidense and now he is posting it everywhere as a way to get back at someone. Its either that or the man is a moron.

On another note, have you ever seen those pictures of people fishing for trout up north? There is a river with a deep hole and the fishermen are literally elbow to elbow forming a circle around the hole. There is still a healthy population of fish in that river but do you really want to fish there?

That was funny. Jesus Christ gave him a good lashing.

What I would really love to see is a map of smallmouth spawning sites on Dale Hollow and Tims Ford so I can pull them off the beds and fry em up. Heck I paid for em. Would someone please post that map!!!

JimfromTN, I wonder if you are the same Jim I am thinking of and know fairly well. If you are you might be familiar with the one known as Pumpkin. \:\)

Pay a guide to take you in March and bring a GPS with you. Don't let the guide see the GPS. Post the GPS coordinates, maps, and technique used for us when you get back.

No, I'm afraid not. The only Pumpkin I know is an old friends wife. Thats his pet name for her. Not exactly sexy but each to his own.

Okay, thought you might be someone else. I can only imagine a pumpkin pet name for a woman, well maybe I don't wish to imagine that \:D

Whoa whoa whoa...WHA HAPPEN?!?!?!

If it's a one board that I am all too familiar with, all bark no bite. I'lla dmit I don't agree with Scrubs on everything, but we're all on the same team here guys. Argue it out with words over these things, but the day you bring it to the river is the day you forfeit a big part of what makes our sport entirely unique...we're not competing against each other, but we're all against a common "enemy"...more a better word is goal per se. That's why we have these massive networks of friends from all different walks of life that have this one thing in common, but helps us all become a little richer by relating to those people through angling. Frankly, I want to know what was said, but...well...like some peple at one of the places I work at...there's not a red button somewhere or a sequence of chain reactions that can be triggered that will detonate the planet...a thermal exhaust port 2 meters wide, if you will [geek out] so...Ob-la-di, ob-la-da....

Scrubs, dude...I gotcha back.
