I too use the wraps for an easier time finding arrows and watching the flight of an arrow. Never had a problem with fletchings coming off the wraps I use (eze crest). I still use Fletch-Tite Platinum glue with great success.

But! I've got a couple of my hunting arrows that have boogered-up fletchings that need to be replaced right now, and I dread having to remove both the cresting and fletchings. They're pretty and all, but I'm not replacing the wraps! Until I find the pre-crested GT's, I'll just use all white feathers with a white nock.

Be sure to wipe your wrap and fletching with rubbing alcohol to clean the surfaces prior to flethcing. I have a lot better luck using Fletch-tite Platinum glue than any other type.

I've been shooting those Shrink fletch things for a couple years and they are the bomb. I can honestly say they hold up better than my past ventures with EZE crest and the bitzenberger. Whole lot quicker too. They are pricey though.

I use a hair dryer instead of hot water. Works great. I did a dozen for a buddy today in about 5 minutes.

I have those same wraps Radar except I have orange and black blazers on them.

I wrap mine in white and can honestly follow the arrow a LOT better after the shot. Also a lot easier to find. I've burried them through a few deer before and different bones send them flying somewhere other then right behind the target. You would be amazed at how well that white stands out on the forrest floor, even covered in blood ( just makes a bright pink ).

For some reason the materials used on the wraps are to slick and nothing adheres to it. I will spend the next few hours starting over but I guess it will be worth it in the end. Bummer!!!!! \:\(

I'm fixin to do the same thing. Tried the wraps for the first time they look good and they could serve a good perpose when tryint to find the arrow after a shot, but I just didn't care for the flight i was getting. I actually had to sand on the arrows that i took the wraps off of in order to get the vanes to stick to the shaft.
