herbicide for weed control in pines.

Thought I'd try this here - a little off topic. I need to know what herbicide to spray over-the-top of young (2-3 year old)white pine to control weeds. I've got a pretty good idea but thought I'd get some suggestions from those of you who have experience with this. Thanks.
Also, an herbicide which would work with Balsam and Leyland Cypress - not sure if I can find one that will work with all three trees.

You might want to try the tennessee forestry dept. for info and see if they can help.

"Oust" developed by DuPont, great chemical, with a wide variety of uses, I was once told that it was developed just for "pines" later they found many other uses

I use Arsenal in my pines for hack and squirt work. Which herbicide you use depends on how you are applying it. Your area forester, extension forester or NRCS rep. are the best sources of information.
