I've never targeted anything other than catfish in the Fall. I'm thinking about going after some crappie this time around. All my experience with crappie is from the Spring. Any major differences? I'll try the usual Spring hotspots and if that doesn't work I guess I'll just try deeper. Any other suggestions?

Pretty similar to spring patterns in my area, they will definitely start moving up as the water cools. Check out crappie.com, there's a lot of good info there and good fishing reports.
