anywhere from dickey bridge down to harms had great luck this summer caught several nice 3lb smallies and even caught a 4.5 redeyes lay in groups in the rocks and tree roots. tons of 1lb to 2lb fish and an occasional largemouth.

when you are creek fishing there is no better bait for the smallies or a big ol fat bluegill. i just pick em out of the creek as i go

My little trick to getting crawfish is to go fish a creek. Caatch a little bluegill and put him on a stringer. lay a landing net in the water with the handle on the bank.. then I put my little bluegil in the water centered on the net. All the crawfish will come up and start eating the bluegil. it's like a feeding frenzy!! then put up the net and get all the crawfish. and set the net back out again for another set! it works great.
