Thanks Mike,
I took it to a fellow in Kingston that was mentioned once before on this website. I will let you and the others know how it goes.

Thanks for all the replies. I hope somebody else can use all the suggestions.

I picked up my boat yesterday with the report card....good compression, good spark, and both carbs clean. He said the plugs were pulled when he tried to start it and they were wet. He stuck a lighter up to the plugs and they didn't ignite (pretty good trick I thought). the fuel/water separator was removed and no water.

Mr. Laws thought I still had rements of the additives I put in the tank from the time I emptied it after I got the bad gas. I had put in SeaFoam, and Valvaline water remover, and Techron. I may have overdone it on the additives trying to get all that water out, and it in itself settled out causing the initial start up problems.

It starts now faster, and continues to start after it's been running without problems. I am going to try and run all the gas out of it in the next few days and start with totally new.

Thanks for all the help.

PS. Mr. Laws was great to work with, cheaper than going mechanic rate in Knoxville, and was available anytime I called. I will give you his phone number if you PM me.
