Well I am not going to be hunting with the Whisker Biscuit anymore. I finally tried one of the Fall Away rest. I got a QAP Ultra-Rest and this is a really nice rest. It comes with a DVD that shows how to install and tune the rest. After setting up the rest I tried it out and it has worked great. It also is very quiet. So as bad as I hate to I will be putting the WB to rest and I will not have to mess with the wavy vanes anymore.

I had a problem with my QAD hunter drop away . It didn't release , the arrow struck the launcher arm and tore it off , sending in back into the riser and towards my right eye . I promptly sent it back to Cabelas for a refund .
Put the WB back on . Works fine for me . I have never lost a fletching with a WB . What ever works for you . Good luck with the QAD .

I just don't understand why people still complain about wavy vanes when there are so many good vanes on the market right now that are very stiff and will not wrinkle using a WB. Choose a quality, stiff vane and you'll not have any problems.

Ditto , I have posted the link to the WB website giving vane recommendations a hundred times on this forum .
I'm done with it .

Because most people probably don't fletch their own vanes. I don't (at least not yet) and I had the original whisker bisquit. Got rid of it because I was tired of it tearing up my vanes.

To each his own . I have never had a problem with them tearing up vanes , because I have the proper fletching for the WB . It's no big secret that rubber based vanes will get wavy , but it doesn't affect arrow flight .
I have used feathers for hundreds of shots without a problem . The only time I screw up a fletching is when I hit another arrow . I try to aim at different spots for that reason .

I have the same QAD on my Drenalin. Once you shoot with this, I think you are hooked. I am.
I like everything about it,including the let down feature.
IMO as perfect of a rest you could ever want.

My bow shop guy installed mine, and I have never had to do anything to it so far.
Glad you found it.
