Hey, tnripnror. Just looked at your myspace page. Among other things, it says you like fly fishing. Did y'all catch those big trout on flies? Impressive whatever you used, but just curious how you catch the big dawgs on flies. Streamers at night?

Bob considering I know rusty, as well as his former partner Michael and the folks they frequent and have nothing bad to say about them I would find it shocking that I would be so harsh to a person who I have no issues with whatsoever. I think Rusty has doen a tremendous job of running his business and also fills a niche on the smallmouth floats which no one has been able to fully do as well as he has. I have met him several times and he has always been personable and nice as he can be. I have been on the river with him and he always gave the respect that was neccessary and was also very friendly.
AS far as the name of my photbucket account, that name came from many moons ago and is a nickname I earned from turkey hunting. I have never used it on a forum and never would. I was mcates before I switched to Captain hook here at Tndeer.
I do know who made the posts now that you refer to at tntrophyfishing and know him very very well. But he and I are not the same person. Could I be seen in this persons company? Absolutely, and he is without question one of the best fly-fisherman in this state. He apparently had some riff with Rusty, for reasons I do not know, but I have stayed out of that fray.
Draw whatever conclusions you like, as you are free to do so, and sadly for you I won't hold it against you nor anyone else. Life is just too short to have a personal grudge with someone over an internet forum.

Captain Hook I accept your appoligies try to be nice and just go with the flow if ya can I just pretty much over looked it but the more I thaught about it I could'nt set back and say nothing but I'm a cool clam collective guy..... now to where my fish is caught most on the holston and a few on the watauga river I won't to go try some my secrects on the clinch and other good rivers in Tn. but to far for me to drive with a busy schedule like mine at the time
Thank you and I was way out of line, and it speaks volumes of your character to accept my apology, and shows that my tact is pitiful at times.
Great fish, and you frequent many of the same rivers I do, and maybe one day we can cross paths and share a piece of water together.
All the best.

Dang, I just wasted a bunch of time reading through all of this mess. But I did see few good points made and alot of nonsense. This is one of the reasons I dont post here as much as I used to. I will keep my fishing reports to myself.
