2nd Annual Carl Perkins Bass Classic October 10-11

The Second Annual Carl Perkins Bass Classic to benefit the the Exchange Club-Carl Perkins Center For The Prevention of Child Abuse will be held be held October 10-11 in Decatur County, Tenn.
A bass tournament will be held on October 10-11 at the Tennessee River, with registration beginning at 4:30 a.m. and blast-off at 7 a.m. Entry fee is $160 (includes big-fish pot). Weigh-in will be at 4:30 p.m. at the Decatur County Fairgrounds Building.
Guaranteed payout is $20,000, with $5,000 going to first place. In addition, there will be numerous prizes.
Other events slated for the weekend event include a youth fishing rodeo at 10 a.m. on Oct. 11 (every participant receives a prize); a birds of prey indoor demonstration, an FLW Ranger Boat Simulator, an auction (October 10, evening); appearance by Miss Tennessee Ellen Carrington (October 11, 9 a.m. ‘til 11 a.m.); live entertainment (at 8 p.m. on Oct. 11) and concessions.
