The topwater action was awesome. Didn't have to throw anything the whole morning except the good ol' skitter prop.Idk if the cool weather from last week helped or what,but absolutely the best morning I've had all summer. I ended up with about 15 largemouth by 8 a.m. Started at 6 am. Nothing big by any means, but catchin fish is catchin fish....Smallmouth weren't hittin for me as usual. lol Another guy floatin in a kayak in the same area pulled in a 4 lb. smallie

BTW, put in at the ramp on Old Knox. highway just past the Rockford Mason Lodge.
