I've got a buddy with a bow shop that has a Tenpoint mangnum X2 that 2 years old for $300 or a new excaliber phoenix for $375. The 10 point has a red dot scope. I loved the way they both shoot and are both nicer than my Horton. $300 sounded high for the used one? It looks brand new, but what do you guys think? He did say he would knock a little more off for me on the used one. i was wanting an Excalibur and thats what I went looking for until he showed me the other one.

hard to say... I have an excalibur and love it.... but the 10 points are very good as well...

The string would be alot easier to change on the excalibur ......

That is one hard decision..... but i do not believe you will go wrong with either...

Ask yerself these ?'s when shooting the Bows. Are they comfortable? how about the weight? Width? They are both very good Bows What are you really wanting, simple or just a little more tuning up.

Apply the same rules as to "Ford or Chevy?". Buy the one you like the best.

I love my Tenpoint. I broke the quiver mount. E-mailed them and asked if they would replace it and if I could buy a cover for the red dot on the bow that I had lost. I had both within a week and was not charged for the cover.
