In all seriousness, if Bowtech starts paying pro contingency money we'll see a move to them at the pro ranks. Until then PSE, Hoyt and Mathews will own that market.

It was pretty sad at the Classic to see the woman who placed 2nd not get a contingency check with the women in 1st and 3rd got paid ;\)

I'm not real brand conscious when it comes to bows , but I'm pretty happy with how well my Mathews LX is shooting . I bought it last year from a tndeer member for a backup bow ,and I'm thinking about using it as my primary bow .
There are several good bows on the market that are every bit as good as Mathews though , shoot what you shoot best with and be happy with it .

The Mathews LX is a great bow, I really liked mine.If I wasn't a Mathews fan, I would give the pearson bows a try.

The LX is a little louder than my other bows , but it's a shooter . Keep an open mind on bows , if you like Pearson , shoot it ! The brand on the limbs doesn't dictate how well it may shoot in your hands .
There are some great bow companies like Pearson out there that have been around for decades . They might not have the fan fair of Mathews , but that doesn't mean they aren't as good .
My Kodiak Outdoors Titan 34 is a sweet bow .

I would hope that a 2007 model would be able to peform better than a 2005 model.....If not that bow manufacture isn't doing much......

One reason I don't post much on Archery Talk is because of all of the ignorant bow bashing arguments .
Let's not bring this forum down to that level of stupidity . Shoot what works for you , promote bowhunting and archery not your brand of bow .

Ditto! Great post Radar

I shoot Mathews and in all honesty really like it, but I get absolutely sick of the talk. There are a whole bunch of really good bows out there right now and absolutely no reason to only shoot Mathews.

I agree with you Radar. Last year when I bought my bow. I shot every bow I could get my hands on. Every bow I shot was great shooters. There was not a single bad bow in the bunch. It was just that the Ross fit me like a glove. What turned me away from a Mathews was all the fanboys out there that thinks if you are not shooting a Mathews then you are not shooting a bow. I didn't want to have any part of that crowd. Mathews used to be top of the line and above everyone else but know there are other bows that either has the same quality or has surpassed mathews by a mile. Like you said shoot what fits you and your style and not what everyone else shoots or what everyone else thinks is the best.

I've bought 2 Mathews, and I've changed bow companies since then. I've shot a Bowtech, Hoyt, and Pearson. I did learn that I will never buy another Pearson. That bow was loud, and had alot of hand shock/vibration. Like Radar said, shoot what works and feels best for you.

I'm a die hard bowtech fan, but when you are in the woods miles from the next person, who cares what brand of bow you used to kill that deer.

Mathews,Hoyt,Bowtech,Pearson,PSE, It dosen't matter the bow, they all shoot arrows. It matters Whois letting the string go and how comfortable they are with IT.

I support the little guy! My local archery shop. I happen to own a Mathews Ultra II because he is a Mathews rep. I have also owned Bear, PSE, Reflex and Pearson because that is what he carried at the time. They were all great bows in their time. It doesn't matter what you shoot as long as you are confident with your equipment and know how it will perform. You owe that much to the animals you are after!

I have shot just about everything on the market. I shot High Country for years, then went to PSE and now shoot a Mathews, actually 4 of them. But like Radar said don't shoot it because your buddy does or someone talked you into it. Shoot it because it is what you want to shoot or it is what you shoot the best.
