Thanks! It has been a good year for me on the Duck. I just hope I get to hit it a few more times before deer season gets kicked in good. I have done my best to learn the Duck and it seems to be paying off. I will have to learn it all over again next spring because it will change a lot during the fall and winter once we get heavy rains and the water level gets back up.

I fish any where below the dam all the way in to Hickman County. I usually do floats from one ramp to another. I fish slow with plastics and every once in a while I throw shallow running crackbaits.

I've never gotten any stripers out of the duck river? Where do you do your floats from? So far the only float I've done is from the ramp after the [censored], to chickasaw, what other floats have you done?

I float from below Riverside Dam to Chickasaw, Chickasaw to Williamsport, and Williamsport to a Private ramp around Leatherwood.

how long of a float is it from chickasaw to 50 at williamsport? From the dam to chickasaw I know it takes me about twelve hours, plus or minus depending on weather or whatever, only four or five hours if you just cruise through it with the trolling motor, but i like to fish all I can.
