I am going out west elk hunting in mid Sept. According to the outfitter there are two good trout streams on the ranch. I don't want to pack a fly rod but am going to take a small spinning rod. Space is a premium. If I were going to take just a few lures what should I take?....................Thanks

Never been out west trout fishing, but I don't see why they wouldn't hit blue fox spinners and a variety of jerkbaits like rapalas and such.
